Distinction is reserved for college union and student activities professionals in one of three areas:

* Retirement from field with a record of exceptional service to the region.

* Moved to another career, but has an outstanding record of service to Region 12.

* Volunteered exceptional service beyond the described duties of their Leadership Team position.
